Documents should be in paper bags, easy-open containers, or boxes. Please do not tape boxes shut. No plastic bags!

Destroying papers with personal information is a way to keep a thief from using your good name for bad things like opening credit card accounts, trying to claim your tax refund, and committing utilities, rental or bank fraud, to name a few examples.
